- Lot 2: After the refurbishment of the building and the installation of the cabling (fiber optic and copper cabling), the contractor must deliver the following in consultation with the Client. LAN components are to be delivered and meticulously set up within the network cabinets allocated on each floor. This meticulous arrangement ensures optimal connectivity and accessibility throughout the premises. The WIFI access points, essential for wireless connectivity, are delivered and placed in their designated locations. To ensure optimal coverage and signal strength across the facility a WIFI measurement must be carried out before the final installation. In tandem with the LAN and WIFI setup, components for the firewall service are delivered and installed to fortify network security. These measures are essential for safeguarding sensitive data and preventing unauthorized access to the network. With the physical installation complete, the next phase involves activating the IT network components. This encompasses turning them on and preparing them for operation, ensuring that all systems are functional and ready to support operational requirements. Upon completion of these preceding stages, the finalized IT network is handed over to the Head of IT. The Head of IT assumes responsibility for managing and supervising the network, overseeing its day-to-day operations and ensuring ongoing efficiency and reliability.
