The Flemish Audit Authority for European Structural Funds (VAA) wishes on the basis of the CATE project - Continuous Auditing Based on Techn (Olog) ICAL Evolution and Data Mining - fully commemorate the audit process both on technologically and by conceptual plane, departing from the possibilities offering machine learning and data mining. The government assignment concerns an innovation partnership procedure for the appointment of a private partner that will define the reference infrastructure together with VAA and responsible for the development of the tools and procedures necessary for implementing the (continuously evolving ) risk models in the domain of the use of financial resources granted by the government (subsidies).
