- The castle domain of Poeke has been established as a cultural -historical landscape since 1 March 1978 and includes the protection of the castle as a monument since October 13, 1943. The object of the assignment consists of two plots: • Plot 1: building a wind shed • Plot 2: The environmental construction of the farm site on the domain is a farm that plays an important role in the domain's management. The park ranger/caretaker also lives here. On 7 May 2022, Tourism Flanders and the municipality of Aalter put a new building on the farm site. It contains a potting stable, studio, meeting room, large terrace and separate sanitary. Subsequently, Tourism now wishes Flanders to tackle the surroundings of the farm site so that this zone of the domain is ready to record its current and future functions in a high -quality and sustainable way.
