- EcoWerf is constantly changing. To remain sufficiently dynamic and future -oriented, the investment in the development of a logistics hub is a necessity. As provided for in the extension file and the draft business plan, EcoWerf provides the development of a transfer station in Tienen.
The Construction of the transfer station for various waste fractions includes the following sub -aspects:
-The construction of a transfer hall for the transfer of door-to-door fractions (GFT, PMD, bulky waste, residual waste, paper and cardboard and roadside) with an automatic extinguishing system
-The construction of an administrative building in which a reception, office spaces, refectory, changing rooms and showers are housed
-The construction of a depot for 10 collection cars, which will be electric in the future.
-Building a bicycle shed and a parking for the staff
-The outside construction of the site with an access, A weigh bridge, roads, infiltration streams and green construction.
The design plans are available in Appendix B.
The proposed planning of the project is as follows:
-Selection candidates and delivery of the specifications: October/ November 2025
-Good inspection of environmental permit: December 2025
-Gunning Assignment: February/ March 2026
-Ids van Werken: April/ May 2026
