Description:
A pumping station must be built at the port of Antwerp (Salaadweg, 2180 Antwerp). The function of this pumping station will be to pump purified wastewater from the Merksem sewage treatment plant from the false shaft to the Voorgracht. Transporting WWTP water between the apparent shaft and the fore-moat via a pump is necessary to maintain a hydraulic separation between the apparent shaft and the fore-moat. The aim of the contract is the construction of the Salaadweg pumping station, including the supply line connecting the false shaft with the Salaadweg pumping station. and the effluent pipe that connects the Salaadweg pumping station with the canal. The works consist of the following parts: - Creating a connection between the false shaft and the pumping station. - Execution of civil works and electromechanical installation. - Creating a link between the pumping station and the Voorgracht. - The installation of a high-voltage cabin to provide electrical power to the station. - Construction of an access road.
