Description:
This works contract concerns the construction and renovation of 101 student accommodations on the Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech campus of ULiege as part of the Wallonia recovery plan sub-program 243 aimed at the creation of public interest housing specifically for students.
The operation involves, in two phases to ensure the continuity of the provision of student housing on campus, (1) the demolition of building G028 and the reconstruction of a new building with 50 student housing units, (2) the renovation of the building existing G029, already hosting student accommodation and its reconfiguration to adapt it to current technical and comfort standards and (3) the renovation of the surroundings.
The project must meet strict requirements in terms of environmental and energy performance, particularly through the use of biosourced and reused materials, or the management of rainwater around buildings; as prescribed in the technical specifications.
The project should enable ULiege to provide its students with student accommodation on the Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech campus. up to standards, at affordable prices, according to the price scales of the Center for Studies in Sustainable Housing (CEHD).
