By the opening of Havenwereld (experience center) in 2026, we want a fully installed and operational catering facility for visitors to Havenwereld and visitors and passers-by of the Dry Docks site. What is Havenwereld? Port World brings the harbor to life. You will not only experience the port through numerous activities, but you will also discover them in the interactive experience center on the Dry Docks site. This unique building combines the industrial character of the location with modern architecture and offers space for workshops, catering and supporting facilities. The absolute eye-catcher? The experience space, where you are taken into the ins and outs of the port. Experience how the port works, which innovations shape the future and what impact the port has has on our society, economy and environment. Who visits Havenwereld? • Individual visitors: visit to the experience center with permanent exhibition and fascinating exhibits • Schools & young people: extensive educational program with workshops, port visits and teaching materials, tailored to different educational levels, both in the visitor center and in the port itself • Companies: team building activities in the form of a visit to the experience center combined with an activity • Non-profit organizations/organizations whose aim is have culture to offer in the broadest sense of the word.
