The study examines how in Flanders the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (hereinafter: IVRPH) is experiencing, and to what extent this Convention is used to follow this Convention in daily actions. What do people in Flanders know about the rights contained in the Convention? What do people know about the right to inclusion and reasonable adjustments? How do they face these rights? How do they act with regard to these rights? - In what way do people with disabilities experience their rights? - In what way do professionals experience the rights of people with disabilities? - On What way do residents in Flanders experience the rights of people with disabilities? The equal opportunity policy is pursued from the human rights perspective. Current research is situated within this context and wants to promote participation, openness and inclusion, among other things.
