- IVAGO is looking for a provider for the collection and processing of small hazardous waste (KGA), which was selectively collected at 6 recycling parks (Ghent and Destelbergen) and at a number of specific locations of city services/schools. Empty ones also serve containers must be supplied for selective collection. The assignment covers a period of 4 years and starts on July 1, 2026. KGA is understood to mean Small Hazardous Waste, also known as small chemical waste household waste that is produced in small quantities but exhibits hazardous properties for human health or the environment. It requires specific processing to prevent or limit the impact. In the VLAREMA 5.2.2.1 indicates what is considered KGA and must be collected and disposed of. The collection of motor oil is part of the assignment, as are abandoned medicines and gas bottles. The collection of the waste fractions mentioned below is not covered command: - dry batteries (Bebat) - lead acid batteries - frying oil - Fluorescent and energy saving lamps (Recupel) - Toners and cartridges (Recupel) - Smoke detectors (Recupel) - Tires (Recytyre) The assignment holder sets up collection containers for each waste product included in this assignment available in which the respective KGA type must be stored pending collection.
