Description : The project aims at obtaining quality analysis and regular updates on developments and trends in China-s economy, economic policy and economic relations with the EU including: implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan; macro-economic developments, domestic and external economic policies;
China-s economic relations with major partner countries, including the US; quantitative and qualitative aspects of China-s exports, imports of goods and services; inward and outward investment flows; China-s role in regional and global supply chains; business strategies of Chinese companies in the EU and abroad in general, and of EU companies in China; key developments in the main economic sectors (e.g. domestic and global market shares); possible political consequences of these developments in China and in the EU.
The project will also maintain and further develop the existing web-based database on investment flows between the EU and China at the level of company/based on transactions.
