- The present assignment concerns the construction of a separate sewerage system in part of the Kasteelbrakelsesteenweg, the Trompstraat and the Blekerijstraat. The DWA leadership starts at the Kasteelbrakelsesteenweg 534, follows the slope of the terrain and walks to Trompstraat. In Tompstraat, 2 side streets connect to the DWA system. The wastewater flows to the existing pumping station at the intersection of Blekerijstraat and Dokter Spitaelslaan. Between Kasteelbrakelsesteenweg and Trompstraat no. 33 an existing pipeline runs through grasslands. This will be relined and connected to the new DWA pipeline in Trompstraat. The RWA management also takes care of Kasteelbrakelsesteenweg 534. The RWA follows the terrain slope. In the Trompstraat the Villersbeek connected to the RWA. Further on, the flow of the Villersbeek is diverted via a pinch to the open bed near lot 83. A canal in Blekerijstraat is being reprofiled to buffer rainwater and allow it to infiltrate. Seen the narrow streets, a grout screen will have to be constructed spread across the route. To install the sewerage system, the current road surface will be completely demolished and restored to its original condition, subject to the current road widths and aanhorigheden.
