This assignment concerns the insuring of error -free civil liability under damage caused to third parties during or following experiments on the human person whose University is the client and UZ Genter and for which the (favorable) advice of the UZ ethical committee Ghent was obtained, in accordance with the (coordinated) law dated 7 May 2004 on experiments on the human person and its implementing decisions, the Act of 22 December 2020 on medical devices and the law dated 7 May 2017 on clinical tests with medicines for human use, with Including legal aid for the insured persons. For the sake of clarity: it concerns experiments from both Ghent University and those of UZ Gent. Insurers are considered in this competition procedure to take out insurance policies as the only possible parties that can act as a tenderer.
