Call for participation - Framework contract for the supply of reagents for ACT and blood gas measurements, including a link to the LIS via open middleware software already present, the delivery, installation and commissioning of equipment on loan
The Laboratory for Clinical Biologye of UZ Gent processes a total of about 11,000 ACT analyzes on an annual basis. For this purpose, 14 Abbott iStat devices are currently being used, spread over the entire hospital.
In UZ Gent, low-volume devices are also used on some services for the measurement of blood gases and electricity.electrolytes. This concerns about 500 to 700 measurements per year. Currently, 4 Abbott iStat devices are used for this.
Both the ACT and the blood gas results are forwarded to the LIS via the middleware InfoHQ. The management of the devices and operators also runs through this middleware. In this assignment we wish to replace the existing devices one-on-one with new high-quality devices that require minimal maintenance and interventions.
