The current billing and service activation system was acquired by a.s.t.d.i.d. In 2013 and commissioned in 2015. The system has two objectives. First, the activation of services within the Astrid network, with regard to radio, location services, paging and BLM. Second, the billing of services provided to individual users of these Astrid services. The activation, deactivation and reactivation of radios, location services, pagers and BLMs are essential from an operational point of view and are part of the daily routine of the Astrid Service Center. Billing following the provision of Astrid services is very important from a management point of view at Astrid.The current system runs on exceeded equipment (HP C7000 Blade System) and on Software Platforms (Windows Server 2008, Java 7, Oracle Database 11g).
