Call to request to participate - Framework agreement for supplying labels, wristbands, and delivery, placing in placing label printers and accessories
The UZ Gent currently has a number of labels printers and wristband printers on different services that are used in combination with specific application software (laboratory information system, pharmacy information system, purchase and warehouse information system, electronic patient file, etc.). The labels are used to identify patients and related applications for all kinds of technical investigations, product identification, etc. Usually text is printed together with a barcode on the labels. Wristbands and wristband printers are used for patient identification, and are arranged in the reception centers and the nurses. The intention is to introduce, gradually, in all services in the hospital where necessary, to introduce specific label and wristband printers and replace obsolete devices.
