Building Youth Rooms and a Storage to Burn Goor 37 2230 Herselt.
The assignment was to design a building with youth rooms, a kitchenette and the necessary sanitary facilities for the youth movement that complies with contemporary standards in which sufficient light and solar fall served to be guaranteed. At the same time, the question was to provide sufficient additional storage room by expanding the existing storage room. If facade materials were chosen for prefably insulated concrete walls, cladding and aluminum exterior joinery. The combination of concrete and aluminum exterior joinery reinforces the feeling of a robust and maintenance-arm building. The materialization of the interior results from this principle by providing the inner walls in concrete blocks and to leave the welfles of concrete. As floor finishing we choose a low-maintenance floor in polycreton.
