- With this project, the city of Tienen wants to implement certain aspects of the decree 'Out-of-school care and activities' (BOA). With this decree, the Flemish government aims for an integrated offer of after-school care and activities. Of In this project, the city aims to offer accessible and sustainable support to foreign-speaking children (and indirectly also their parents) by offering language practice opportunities in after-school care in the 13 primary schools in Tienen. As a director the local government draws up an extracurricular policy together with the various partners. Together we want to draw up a new policy with the aim of increasing the quality of language practice opportunities for children in an informal context by developing and offering a high-quality offering in after-school care BOA. In this way we ensure a high-quality, integrated, accessible and affordable after-school activity offering tailored to the families and children of Tienen, with a specific focus on vulnerable gezinnen.
