Description:
VRT wishes to conclude a framework agreement for the purchase and integration of broadcast wireless audio within both a broadcast and office environment. Wireless audio includes but is not limited to wireless microphones, wireless in-ear monitoring systems, antenna infrastructure, spectrum management & frequency coordination, management software, (wireless) peripherals, hardware and software as well as providing professional services for programming, supporting and maintaining all these materials and systems. VRT wants to focus on an ecosystem that is future-oriented and flexible and is scalable. The future VRT building will use a fully redundant SMPTE 2110 network. The new Broadcast Wireless audio ecosystem must integrate strongly with that IP network. The new Broadcast Wireless Audio ecosystem will play a central role in the production environment from VRT, with applications in control rooms, (radio) studios and mobile productions. The specific requirements will be communicated in the specifications.
