Proposed sale of 23 European Union buildings in Brussels Introduction:The European Union, represented by the European Commission, itself represented by the Office for Infrastructure and Logistics in Brussels (European Commission, OIB, Département RE, Rue Belliard 28, 1049 Bruxelles, BELGIUM) and in its name, its Director, intends to sell in one single lot 23 properties, which will become available for sale, operationally and legally, at different periods ranging, for the most part, from 2024 to 2028. To this end, it is looking to enter into an agreement (the ‘Agreement-), by which it will undertake, in particular, to become the full owner of the buildings in question prior to their actual sale. The sale of tangible assets of the Union is governed by Article 87(2) of Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2018/1046 of the Parliament and of the Council of 18 July 2018 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union (the ‘Financial Regulation-): https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:32018R1046&qid=1689629721376 This procedure is organised in two stages.
