• The IAWM is an institution of public interest in accordance with Article 87 of the Decree of May 25, 2009 on the Financial Regulation of the German-Speaking Community and acts as the supervisory authority of the ZAWM (Center for Training and Further Education for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises). The mission of the IAWM is precisely set out in Article 16 of the Decree of December 16, 1991 on training and continuing education in medium-sized and small and medium-sized enterprises. The IAWM therefore has the following tasks: 1. to develop the courses and Contribute to activities in the context of training and further education in medium-sized and small and medium-sized companies, to coordinate these and to ensure their educational, administrative and financial supervision; 2. the pedagogical qualification to promote the trainer; 3. to prepare the training programs with a view to their approval by the Government; 4. to coordinate the organization of the tests and examinations, to create the assessment methods and for the pedagogical supervision to care; 5. to approve the apprenticeship contracts and controlled apprenticeship agreements or to revoke them and to supervise the course of the apprenticeship, particularly in the training company; 6. the awarding of journeyman certificates and master craftsman certificates and prepare the certificates and submit them to the government for authentication; 7. to submit reports to the government with regard to the establishment and recognition of centers and to carry out activities...
