Description:
Purpose of the work: asbestos removal work and demolition of buildings on 3 sites to be redeveloped (SAR) in the center of Tournai. The contracting authority wishes to lighten the constructive load of future promoters for the redevelopment of SAR. The asbestos removal and demolition permits of the 3 sites were granted in early April 2025. This project was part of the Riv s action plan of the city of Tournai subsidiated partly by the integrated policy of the city (PIV SAR) launched by the Walloon Region in 2021. Allotment and places of execution: Lot 1 - Union Ferronniere and Bon Bourgeois-rue Saint-Piat, 68-88 at 7500 Tournai Lot 2-Old Savonnerie Pollet-rue Saint-Brice, 17-21 and rue Clercamps at 7500 Tournai Lot 3-Old Saint-Jean Foundry-Rue des Croisiers, 6-8 to 7500 Tournai Description of the market: The objective of this market is to purify Sites (asbestos removal and demolitions) in order to reduce the work to be carried out by the promoters who will be in charge of presenting a development project and carrying out it. Floor studies have been carried out by the specialized environmental office and conclude for: - Lot 1 (UFBB) to pollution that Require the maintenance in place of the slabs and soil (see appendix 4 of the technical annexes: characterization study and risks validated by the DAS), - Lot 2 (soap factory) in the absence of pollution, (see appendix 4 of the technical annexes: certificate of compliance of the soil validated by the DAS), ...
