Description:
Local Fund is looking for an interim director for a temporary assignment of 1 year, extendable three times by one year, to support the Local Fund as an organization in its further professionalization. The interim director of the Local Fund is responsible for it developing and implementing the strategic policy, in consultation with the administrative body. He/she manages the organization on a daily basis and coordinates all organizational and financial aspects. The position involves translating social needs in Dessel and Mol into concrete projects and policy proposals. The director represents the Local Fund externally, maintains networks and ensures clear communication with all stakeholders (both from his own organizational chart and with external partners), with whom he also maintains and strengthens ties. In addition, he/she monitors quality and continuity and governance of the organization. The final aspect of the tasks entrusted to the interim director is to transfer knowledge and supervise the induction of the person who will replace the interim director at the end of his mandate. Leadership, entrepreneurship, communication and accuracy are crucial competencies within this role
