• Renovation of 145 social homes in Mechelen. After renovation, the target is that all homes meet the objectives for 2050, which means that they achieve an EPC label A. In this context, all elements of the outer shell (including roofs, facades, windows and exterior doors) have been thoroughly examined, as well as the technical installations. To determine which interventions are necessary and feasible to achieve the 2050 standards, the homes are first evaluated. WMR made an initial analysis for this, after which it will be determined whether additional measures are desirable or mandatory. This assessment always involves a balanced assessment between the expected energetic and functional benefits on the one hand and the investment and implementation costs. on the other hand.
