- Description:
- The city of Ostend has a sports park (De Schorre) with a wide variety of sports and relaxation options. It has the following accommodations: sports hall, table tennis room, gymnastics facilities, several football fields, athletics track, BMX track, MTB trail,…. The city now wishes to convert the area within the athletics track, previously a natural grass field for outdoor sports (T5), into an Urban Field Zone. The total zone is +/- 8000 m2 (see attached plan). The city of Ostend and Farys In the context of this project, we wish to be assisted by a design agency to take on the design assignment. The Urban Field Zone must provide (not exhaustively): • Construction of a pump track; • Construction of a skate zone; • Construction of a free running course; • Construction of two 3x3 basketball courts; • Construction of a boulder construction; • Construction of an outdoor fitness facility; • Equipped with lockers for equipment rental; • Construction of semi-paved paths between the various zones; • Environmental construction and installing the necessary closure.
