Description:
The Astrid network for the benefit of auxiliary and security services consists of sites that are spread throughout the Belgian territory.
Each site is equipped with certain fall protection equipment, including safety eyes and rail systems for fall protection, as well as with a means forFire fighting in the form of a portable fire extinguisher.
by a.s.t.r.i.d. Risk analyzes performed have demonstrated the need of:
• An annual inspection of personal protective equipment against falls, consisting of anchoring facilities that meet the EN795;
•annual inspection of the installed ladders and fall protection equipment, including according to the standards EN14122-4 or EN353-1, namely the ladders, the vertical lifelines with rail system (type Soell Glideloc), the cage trails;
• A safety name (audit) of access to the site, on sitethe entrance to the various elements (fencing, technical material, antennas, etc.);
• An annual check and maintenance of the portable fire extinguishers taking into account Title 3 of Book III of the Codex, about the fire prevention on the jobs.
