ANB/TB/TOO/2022/028 Building a winter residence for bats in Begijnendijk
The object of this assignment: the purpose of the works is to build a bat winter residence, by excavating the soil where the bat -mouse winter residence covered with land must come, the excavation of a basement and the construction of the basement on a complete concrete slab with A finished floor level of -30 cm compared to ground level. This basement must be watertight and must keep water inside. The basement is accessible via a staircase with 2 steps. A Slakenhuis construction is built on this by means of prefab elements consisting of fast construction concrete blocks. The roof consists of concrete livestock grilles covered with geotextile and dals. The entrance is accompanied by 2 walls in Schanskorf blocks that also serve as a ground barrel. On top and around the construction, the whole is covered with soil that comes from the exit and excavation.
