- The works include the construction of a new steel bicycle bridge (suspended cable bridge) with steel approach bridge on the southern left bank and an approach ramp on the northern right bank, the partial reconstruction of the concrete gallery along the southern left bank of the canal, the surrounding construction and theconstruction of road infrastructure to the new bridge, including a separate sewerage system and the reconstruction of the 's Gravenwezelsesteenweg, including the bicycle path.
These works mainly include:
•The demolition of the remaining structures of the substructure (mainly foundations) of the substructure in another ocontract already demolished road bridge;
•The partial demolition of the existing gallery on the left bank and the construction of a new reinforced concrete gallery;
•The construction of a steel cable-stayed bridge for cyclists and pedestrians over the Albert Canal;
•The construction of a steel bridge and stairs tor the Stokerijstraat on the left bank;
•The construction of the abutments and pier soles in reinforced concrete, including all foundations;
•The construction of approach ramps in reinforced soil covered with (ornamental) gabions;
•Provision of all appurtenances, equipment and public lighting on the bridge, the stairsand, the bridge and the approach ramp;
•The construction of roads, cycle paths and footpaths in the vicinity of the bridge;
•The construction of the environment and the landscape design, including planting and landscaping in the vicinity of the bridge;
•The demolition of the existing sewerage system;
