- The object of the assignment is to broaden the Albert Canal through the construction of a new quay wall, including the dredging work and the reconstruction of the small appearance.
The works include:
Study:
• from the quay and anchoring;
• of the protected slot for the sewer system;
• From the supervisory wells On the small appearance;
Preparing the site:
• Burglary of the existing towpath, harding and appurtenance;
• Demolition of existing bank constructions and their appurbs;
• Remove and save on site from the soil;
Building new quay walls:
• sheet walls with hull and anchoring;
• Ladders;
• Bolders;
Excavating/dredging the canal:
• removal of the dredging spoil/excavated soil;
• leave on site of part of the soil (to be used in raising site);
Construction of a rainwater drainage sewerage diameter 2000 mm in protected slot without drainage:
• upper coupling side;
• Armed concrete tube diameter 2000 mm with supervisory rooms;
• coupling on the op- and fitting side on the already realized state;
Terrain
• raising the site on the land side of the new quay;
The maintenance of the works during the guarantee period.
