• Description:
• The existing apartment building in Van Notenstraat is a former homeless shelter. There are currently 4 studios on the ground floor, 2 of which were used as offices. There are 4 studios each on the first, second and third floors. The studios are organized around a central elevator and stairwell that can be preserved. Part of the building was ravaged by fire. The existing building will be renovated and converted into emergency housing. On the ground floor there will be a studio, a 2 bedroom apartment and a storage room. One apartment with 4 bedrooms is planned on each floor. All emergency homes, except the studio, will have a small private balcony/terrace and a shared, communal garden. The facades will be insulated and given new cladding with new joinery. The techniques are being replaced. A ventilation system D is provided in all homes. Each home is equipped with a (recovery) gas boiler, but the dispensers are already dimensioned for low temperatures. There will be a new layout with new kitchens and bathrooms. Given that the previous design dates from 2016, the contracting authority wishes to recover as much as possible here. It building has a complete basement. The front part with a full-fledged cellar, the rear part with a sand-filled crawl space. The utility meters are located in the front part. The following works have only been carried out in the basement...
