- The objective of this market is to acquire sequencers adapted to various needs in genomic research, allowing a significant improvement in the capacity, precision, and the efficiency of our analyzes. The equipment sought will have to offer an optimal balance between performanceTechniques and operational costs in the long term.
These equipment is essential to optimize our research projects, meeting the specific needs of each type of genetic analysis. Thus and as part of the strengthening of its genomic sequencing capacities, the Giga platformGenomics wishes to acquire several new generation sequencers, divided into three distinct lots. These new acquisitions will have to allow the platform to respond to the various time, debit and cost constraints related to NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) sequencing projects)DNA, RNA and Single Cell to come. Large sequencing projects for whole genomes are in anticipation as well as a series of projects already financed waiting to be sequenced (sequencing of genomes, transcriptomes, exions and single cell sequencing).
