- This market is part of the renovation of the interiors of the capitular wing of the Cambre Abbey. The capitular wing is part of the classified whole of the Cambre Abbey. This building is located in a classified park, managed by the services of Brussels Environment. The present market is part of a large project made up of several phases. The first phase, closed in December 2021, made it possible to carry out several preliminary studies. The latter lead in particular to a worrying conclusion of the presence of insects and mushrooms - including the merule - in the chapter wing. Following this first phase of preliminary studies, it was therefore established that it was necessary on the one hand, to carry out a phytosanitary treatment of the woodwork and on the other hand, to carry out additional tests after release of the structures in Viewed to study the more depth building.
