- 23002 - Delivery and installation of an automated Spray Coater
The University of Antwerp wishes to purchase an automated spray coater. This device must enable us to spray suspensions (whether or not watery) of catalysts in a controlled and reproducible way to spray their iono binder on (carbon-based) gas diffusion electrodes. Afterwards, these coated electrodes will then be used as an active component to carry out various electrochemical reactions (eg CO2 reduction, water split, etc.) in our electrochemical flow reactors. This research also falls within the ambitions of Bluapp with regard to the upscaling of the electrochemical reactors within Elcat to a higher Trl.
