Description:
Subject of the supply contract: Framework agreement for the purchase of up to 1,000 electric trailers (motorized bicycle trailers) for postal use and related services (supply of all trailer parts and specific maintenance). By "postal use", it is understood that the electric trailer must be capable of stopping on average 100 to 200 times per day (excluding traffic conditions), carry an additional weight of at least 130 kg, and be extremely stable and shock-resistant. The electric trailer is defined as follows: A bicycle trailer with an electric motor that moves only when the cyclist or pedestrian is active, with a maximum speed of 25 km/h. Location where the contract is to be performed: The delivery location will be on Belgian territory. The exact location will be communicated at a later stage upon effective order placement. The contract constitutes a bilateral framework agreement (i.e., a framework agreement that bpost will conclude with a single bidder). The initial duration of the contract is 4 years, with the possibility of tacit renewal twice for a period of 2 years each. Each renewal will occur tacitly. At least three months before the end of the duration, bpost must explicitly notify the termination if it does not wish to tacitly extend the contract.
