- Tenders are invited for 1030/1090 MHz RF Monitoring Flights EUROCONTROL* is an intergovernmental organisation with 41 Member and 2 Comprehensive Agreement States. We are committed to building, together with our partners, a Single European Sky that will deliver the air traffic management (ATM) performance required for the twenty-first century and beyond. Technical subject matter: The EUROCONTROL Agency, which was set up to carry out the Organisation-s mission, provides sustained support for all its Member States, for the European Commission and for the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This assistance is provided in numerous fields, in particular those of regulation, general oversight of air navigation management arrangements, and the environment. The EUROCONTROL Agency is also tasked with the permanent monitoring of the performance of the air navigation management system in place in Europe and of the associated civil-military coordination. The NF IR function, SES (EU) 2019/123 regulation, requires NM to monitor the performance of the CNS infrastructure including surveillance interrogators. One of the main enablers of the surveillance interrogators monitoring are recordings of the 1030/1090 MHz frequency bands used in surveillance. The purpose of this contract is to select a provider for test flights. EUROCONTROL monitoring systems will be installed on board of these test flights in order to monitor the operation of surveillance systems on 1030/1090 MHz frequencies at specific chosen locations in the air.
