- Through this assignment, the contracting authority wishes to restore the European protected dune habitats along the Belgian west coast in the context of the Life Dunias project. In dune areas, owned and/or management of ANB and partners, the indicated vegetable invasive exotics must be removed. Wrinkel roses (Rosa Rugosa), Mahonie (Mahonia Aquifolium) and other exotic shrubs must be systematically uprooted and removed. In the implementation, special attention must be paid to the limitation of regront of root parts due to the maximum removal of all plant parts. With a view to efficient control, practical tests have been carried out at home and abroad and the board has determined a "best practice" following this assignment. These methodologies are further explained in these technical provisions.
