- Buitenrestoing Parish Church Sint-Martinus Oombergen replaced Noordsacristie with a new reception building
It is a fully protected building and protected environment (cemetery and pastoral garden). In 1919 the church burned down and the transept and the ship were rebuilt and expanded with two small side aisles. The Westtoren, the pedestal of the transept and choir in Balegem sandstone are the oldest parts. The natural stone is strongly eroded, especially on the south side, on the other facades it shows the specific crust formation. The schaals are very brittle and to be renewed. All gutters of the church were renewed in 2007, these can be retained. The works are divided into two plots: the outdoor restoration and the replacement of the Noordsacristy with a new reception building in function of accessibility and side destinations for the church.
